who am i?

as mentioned in my homepage, i'm a webmaster-in-training! self-taught, mostly for the purpose of making this very website :} i took some university courses in c++ and python in late 2022 and early 2023, which was how i discovered my love for coding.

my name is moss idris, moss being my online name, which it's been for a few years at this point. i'm an avid fiction lover in all mediums - whether visual, audio, interactive, or any combination of the three - though i have a soft spot for magic, especially magical realism or urban fantasy. i got my start in writing when i was introduced to undertale roleplay on amino, which should explain quite a bit about the kind of person i am now, haha

i enjoy storytelling and the creative process greatly! i like dabbling in visual editing (photo edits, GIF making, the like) and organising collections of things. when it comes to writing, most of it tends to be fanfiction of some kind or another though i prefer working with my own OCs. i may get around to writing about them here yet..!

i tend to not finish things, drifting from interest to interest, starting projects only to leave them half-finished. i rarely truly abandon them, though it factor in to me not sharing as much of my work as i'd like. i also have something of an unfortunate perfectionist streak, which often leads to me being too trapped in indecision to actually *do* things.

i like psychology & sociology, understanding how people & societies work is immensely fascinating to me. my favourite colour is yellow, which is a little obvious, given all the yellow accent colours i have set up.
